I had this 8" mattress shipped directly to her assisted living facility, and they took care of airing it out and installing it, so I'm not sure how it appeared when it arrived. It's a wonderful mattress; firm but with the 3" foam layer very comfortable. I bought a mattress protector from somewhere else (Healthy Foundations, where we've also purchased great memory foam products). My mother is very happy with her new mattress, and the folks at the assisted living facility are relieved she no longer has to climb up to get into bed. |
